Abstract

Development of multimedia technologies coupled with need of making the learning process engaging has led to the emergence of many interactive applications in recent times. By utilizing the ease of using touch based applications, it has become possible to make teaching-learning system more interesting for students, by incorporating these technologies in the process of imparting education. In this paper, we propose to develop an interactive game that runs on an Infra-red touch based multi touch surface that would enable elementary students to learn basic geometry. The software would utilize Tangible User Interface Object (TUIO) protocol for communication.
