Build Automation on an Order Management System

Abstract

One of the common problems faced in companies is the maintenance of multiple products and multiple versions of each product that are used at the same time. Engineers who do this have to manually run commands to check the product and its version, then identify the software to be installed, test fixes, and then continue with other maintenance processes. In this paper we aim to automate this process by designing a polling system that continuously checks for fixes available for a particular product and maintains information about the same.
