Medical imaging refers to a number of techniques that can be used as non - invasive methods of looking inside the body. Medical imaging is a central importance in diagnosis, treat ment monitoring and patient management. Imaging should only be performed if it is likely to help with diagnosis and improve the management of yo ur health condition or injury.
