Lagrangian Invariance in Gauge Theories

Abstract
The pedagogical introduction to the global and local symmetries, invariance of Lagrangian and therefore, of the physical laws which predict the existence of a covariant derivative,is presented. QED, QCD and the electroweak theories are summarized as the examples of gauge theories.
